Join us to as we focus on poetry writing prompts centering the idea of place and ‘home’, led by Cihuayollotl trans Xicanx poet, translator, visual artist, and educator, Moncho Alvarado (@moncholapoet)! 💫

Folks would have the opportunity to focus on poetry writing prompts centring the idea of place and ‘home’. Some works deal with a specific time and location, while others focus on a more socially-constructed view of place through the lenses of pop culture and identity 👁

After the workshop, join us for our Community Open Mic 💜 All artists encouraged to sign up for a 5-7 min slot! 

📚@longdistancereads will be poppin’ out with free books for the community to enjoy!
