💐✨We Finna Grow: a FREE Poetry + Flower Wrapping  Workshop & Open Mic for QTPOC folks💐✨

🥂 PULL UP @ 7 (Happy Hour ends @ 8pm) 

Emotional baddies tap in & join us for a Poetry Reading with artist and community organizer, Laquann Dawson, as well as a Flower Wrapping Workshop & Open Mic! 

We are so excited to be working with @laquanndawson to hold a space and conversation centering the journey of healing. After reading some works & talking about their experiences, folks will have an opportunity to learn about flower wrapping and reflect on the different ways we heal and grow. 

The workshop will give folks an opportunity to write and respond to prompts so bring them feels and let them out afterwards during our Community Open Mic! Folks are encouraged to share anything they’ve been working on - poetry, music, comedy, etc. 

All artists encouraged to sign up for a 5-7 min slot.

📚 We’re also super hype to have both @longdistancereads & @readingforblacklives in the space providing free books & hosting a book swap! Bring something old, take home something new ✨

🌱 Special thanks to @PlantXchange for providing free plants for our community members! (first come, first served)
